Tai Chi on the Lawn
The Summer Group practice is a mixed level class that will explore Sun-style Tai Chi forms and its’ principles. It will be a relaxed format for all levels of participants. Beginners will be encouraged to follow along and enjoy the camaraderie. Tai Chi is a joint-safe, low impact exercise with a mental component to improve mobility, balance and relaxation. Co-leaders of the class are certified with the Tai Chi for Health Institute, as founded by Dr. Paul Lam. Class content will be based on Dr. Lam’s programs and the additional practice of Qi Gong breathing.
Participants should bring water and a folding chair for seated breaks if necessary.
